Angela_Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actor. She has been recognized for her TV and film performance since the 1980s. The awards she has won are the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and was raised by her aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister at the age of five old, emigrated from New York to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their separated father. Bassett decided to be an actor after watching the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American studies) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
